Live painting for a sacred ceremony | Denver, CO @hohm.club Sometimes, the most healing thing we can do is give ourselves space. Space to feel. To just be. To listen not to fix, not to spiral but to witness the truth that lives within us. In this ceremony, as I created the painting, I was reminded that we are all in constant dialogue with ourselves our thoughts, our bodies, our shadows. We are chemical reactions. We are stories unfolding. We are not here to perfect the journey, but to receive it with love and curiosity. The mind is not the enemy. The shadow is not the enemy. They are both invitations into deeper compassion, into presence, into power. This was made with love, for all of us reclaiming our right to feel. To heal. To be whole. Thank you all for creating this container having an open heart, for taking care of one another, for allowing the feelings to come, to trust in community and love. To be brave enough to be vulnerable and connect through the soul. @jfagan88 @rockshannstarr @seenavvv @ceremoniacircle

Oh my Zipolite… what a land of magic. There’s something here you can’t really explain, only feel. A strong, undeniable energy that moves through you, softening you, opening you, inviting you to let go of what no longer fits. I find myself surrendering more easily there. To the lessons, to the timing, to the parts of me that are still unfolding. It doesn’t feel forced, it feels natural, like the land itself is holding that process. And then there’s the people. The kind of community that forms from presence, not performance. Where connections feel real, where love flows freely, where you can just be and be met there. I’ve been reminded, again and again, how much we expand through each other. Through shared moments, conversations, laughter, silence. Through witnessing and being witnessed. This place holds a kind of magic that goes beyond the surface. You feel it in your body, in your breath, in the way you move through your days. I’m always happy to be there. So grateful to have a sanctuary to return to, a place I can call home, to learn, to soften, to open, and walk alongside such beautiful humans. LOS AMO @apapachacha @chamberlinnewsome @postmichael

This is a part of my life that I really value. Being around people I can just be a kid with. Laughing, exploring, doing random things, not taking everything so seriously… but still being grounded, aware, accountable and real with each other. Having friends who meet you there makes everything better. People who respect you, celebrate you, and make you feel comfortable being fully yourself. Where there’s fun, but also care and integrity. Just feeling grateful for that kind of energy in my life, and for the people I get to share it with. ✨🧡 México city Art Week / Bahidora Festival

This creative playful mind also wanted a commissioned piece @thehrdept Heather’s painting is about self love, boundaries, and coming home to her own rhythm. This piece is a reminder of her uniqueness, her power, and her ability to be fully herself. The intention behind this work is to reflect a shift from trying to fit into someone else’s world to tending her own. Letting her inner garden flourish. Trusting that when she is rooted in her values and creative truth, the right people and opportunities naturally meet her there. Heather moves through life with imagination, depth, and play. She loves going all the way into the bit, creating characters, exploring ideas, and letting her creativity take up space. This painting holds that energy. The freedom to create, to express, and to stand in her power without dimming or adjusting herself. I’m deeply grateful to witness and translate this moment of her life into form. Thank you for the trust mi amor🤍

Some recent personalized journals I created. 📔 Each one is designed through conversation with the person who asks for it. I take time to understand their experiences, emotions, and what they are moving through in their life, and translate parts of that human journey into the design. Every journal becomes a unique reflection of that person and their process. Grateful to keep creating and sharing this work. ✨

Some paintings come from a place that feels very personal. This one is for my soul sister Bethany. She is moving into a new apartment and stepping into a new chapter of her life. The painting I created for her reflects something I have been witnessing in her over time. A transformation of her feminine energy from something wild and expansive into something more grounded, embodied, and rooted. A presence that knows itself and trusts its own rhythm. Energy that lives fully in the body, steady, alive, and intentional. Power that is integrated, spacious, and deeply held. This piece feels like a reflection of what it means to inhabit your strength with awareness and grace. Bethany, I feel so honored by the trust between us and by the opportunity to translate a moment of your life into form. Thank you for letting me create this for you, I love you. 🧡 @being.in.wilderness @bethanyholt

At the beginning of this year, I was invited to create a live painting experience at Manifesto, a gallery in Guadalajara. It felt natural to bring music into it, so I invited someone who feels like home, a sister to collaborate with me @karli.musik As I painted live, she played her DJ set, creating the soundscape for the evening. My pieces were exhibited around us, and bringing visual art and music together in that space felt really special. Thank you @manifesto.mx for hosting my work and for the invitation to create this experience in your gallery. That painting also opened another door. It led to the opportunity to exhibit my pieces at @emeartspace , a beautiful space in Guadalajara where I’m grateful my work gets to have a home for a while. There’s something meaningful about seeing your art land somewhere it’s cared for, where people can sit with it, feel it, and experience it. Grateful for the spaces, the collaborators, and the way one opportunity leads to another.✨

I recently completed a commissioned piece for a woman who chose herself. She’s in a season of real change, not the kind you talk about casually, but the kind that asks for courage. It takes strength to redirect your life. To step away from what’s familiar. To question the default. To admit you want something different and actually move toward it. We only get this life in this form. And there comes a moment when you realize no one else is going to choose it for you. This painting represents that decision. The courage to honor her truth. To build a life that feels aligned. To take up space without negotiating who she is. Her new home isn’t just a new address. It’s evidence of action. I deeply respect women who are willing to change the direction of their lives. It’s not loud. It’s not always easy. But it’s powerful. Translating that into art is an honor. Thank you @unclenancypants for trusting me with your story. I’m so grateful I accidentally got on the wrong NY boat party. It led me to you. 🧡

Art Week in Mexico City felt like a full circle moment for me. I got to do a live painting at a friend’s gallery, surrounded by people who have been part of my path. DJs, sound artists, friends I deeply love and respect, all contributing their energy in their own way. It wasn’t just an event, it felt like a living, breathing collaboration. A reminder that none of us create alone. Thank you @bradccohen , @longnate08 , @katie.chap , and @callmelola_xx for holding space for us to expand creatively and spiritually. Spaces like that don’t just happen, they’re built with intention and trust. I’m always reminded why I love live painting so much. There’s something powerful about creating in real time. The curiosity in people’s eyes, the questions, the conversations that unfold while the piece is still becoming. It turns art into a shared moment instead of just a final result. Live painting is one of my biggest offerings in this lifetime. It asks me to be present, to respond to the energy in the room, to let the piece emerge through connection rather than control. And I feel so grateful that this is part of my path. Thank you, Art Week. Thank you to everyone who showed up, witnessed, asked, felt. Always in the name of love. 🧡

So grateful for an Oaxacan coast community 🌊 It gave me so much clarity around how I want my life to feel, community-centered, sustainable, and rooted in quality of life. Reminiscing on building life there with my Brooklyn people, learning slowness after living a fast pace in the city, letting my nervous system soften into ocean mornings. Holding this rhythm close and feeling ready to return soon ✨ @apapachacha
