Last few days in Kino. I’ll miss the quiet mornings, the sea, and that first sip of coffee (insectos and all). These four weeks have been worth every second — especially because of the people I got to share them with.

Throwback to June 25, 2025 in Salisbury - Coombe Bissett, Wiltshire, England two days after finding out my beloved Grandma Mamang passed. Even though I couldn’t be with her in those final moments I could feel her with me then. I still do now. She enjoyed the quiet times to reflect, read, and write.
Grandma, I pray you continue to stay close to me. I pray to be mindful and to always carry those who have gone before me to be with me. They have existed so I can too. I pray that I make them proud and continue to lift others up with my talents and strengths. I pray that I don’t forget and lose sight of who I am and those who have loved me into being. I love you. Thank you.

Late appreciation post! Last week was a WEEK.
ZepFest 2025 was full of heart, connection, and art across so many different disciplines, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of it. The Yes Hell took home a couple of awards this week, which is a huge honor, but more than anything, I’m proud to have shared space with such generous, talented, and fierce storytellers. I’m so proud of Quiet, Arlo, and being able to witness the journey from page to screen. @dustinmichaelbessire and @david_a_guerrero , it was so special to me to have our work in the same space and time.
Thank you to @aliciaofarmer , @utahmusicradio , and the entire @zepstonemedia team for championing indie voices and building something that feels deeply rooted in community. Thanks also to everyone who came out to the screenings and supported the work. You’ve all been part of this journey.
To the cast, crew, and friends of The Yes Hell — you know this has been a long time in the making. I’m so lucky to make things with you. Congratulations on the Powerstone Award for best drama and to our fearless director, @andresorozcomfa , who won for Best Director. And to @i_like_knowing_that_about_you . This film would not be what it is without the Yes Hell and not only allowing us to make it happen but immortalize it forever.
This is just the beginning.
