I’ve had the honor and pleasure of working with these people the past 3 years. It’s a beautiful feeling working with friends and especially when they happen to be as inspiring as these guys are…
And it translated to some pretty incredible things..
The time has come for a new chapter, but I like to think that I’ll continue revisiting this one far down the line.

When I visited Karl in Amsterdam in April 2024, I mentioned this stool upholstery idea I had. The thought was to rethink the simple silhouette of a stool using same padded/tension nature of a MA-1 bomber jacket.
With a total absence of pattern-making abilties I envisioned the project purely on an idea level, so the questionable task of turning the idea into reality fell on Karl.
He somehow managed to not only execute it, but also do so to perfection. Considering how skillful he is at his craft I shouldn’t be surprised, but it is nevertheless surreal seeing the concept materialize.
The result is a 1-of-1 piece that stands in continuation of my ongoing Atramento project brought to life with great support from the local Alpha Industries team.
