Going down the maze-like alleys, shopping at the souks was a joy. My wife was pregnant and we were there during Ramadan so she was hungry all the time. We rented a cheap car and drove across the country, it was before GPS and smartphones, so we had to rely on travel books that often had outdated info, and we rarely knew where we would stop for the night. Pure adventure. Somewhere in Morocco, January 2000 — Fez or Marrakech, I can’t remember.
I love the Pacific Wheel, but I don’t enjoy riding it 😀. It’s the only solar-powered Ferris wheel in the world and looks so pretty in the late afternoon sun.
