Your mom is who gave you life. The one closest to an unconditional all loving God and Universe you will ever find on this earthly realm.
The one who sees your potential and your unique beauty like no one else ever can. The one who tells us she believes in us, people should treat us well and that everything is going to be ok. Our mother is the most important person in our lives for all of us. Even in her absence.
I never got to call anyone “mom” or “mama”. My mother fell for all the anti-human psy-opses like anti-female feminism and “over-population”/guilt over starting a family of your own. With her own generational trauma burden, I “lost” my mom to a psychoses when I was 6 years old, and never really got her back. I went from orphanage to family friends, far away relatives and back into the orphanage voluntarily when I was 13. My mother was avoidant/neglectful and actively destructive at times and made it known in her extremely intelligent and subtle ways that it was not ok for me to be a girl, let alone become a woman. My very essence and existence was not approved of. I’m thankful every day I saved myself and got out of that house before it killed me. If gender transitioning had been a thing back then, I can clearly see how that would have been my path, as the need to be approved of by your mother is one of the strongest human drives out there. When that is an utterly unattainable goal, it destroys a part of you. Speaking out about the trans issues of the world comes from a deeply personal painful experience. A true dark night of the soul of having to choose for myself no matter what the consequence at a young age.

My boy recently turning 5 years old, a weekend with a beautiful ceremony and today’s full moon marks the end of a remarkable 5 year period in my life in which seemingly we were spared no challenges
First of all, 5 years old!! Holy shit we made it! My baby is no longer little and fragile. As he will happily volunteer to tell any cashier; “he’s already five years old and 18 kilo’s!”. Time sure flies when you’re having fun and/or being pre-occupied by a toddler.
I am so so grateful, first of all for being a mom. That in itself is reason enough for gratitude in this day and age when not everyone who wants their own family is able to make one. Having a little soul in your life who you mean the world to is a soul melting heart warming experience I’d wish for everyone. Then I’m so grateful for having such a vibrant, healthy and stubborn boy. Yes he’s quite the hand full, but he’s a child of his mom; so obviously I wouldn’t wanna have it any other way ;-) For some reason I had expected to birth a quiet nerdy kid, but far from it, he’s not shy to chat or sing songs to any stranger he comes across, and so gifted at sports. That was one of the first things I noticed about him when he was born; how strong and excited(??!) he was. The nurse also commented on how he was able to hold his own head upright. And now he talks about how he wants to become the strongest man in the world 💪 I’m all here for it little guy, go get it 🔥
On one hand he looks like my twin (with our dark haired/eyed family, who woulda ever thunk??) and we’re the same in many ways. In other ways he really has his very own unique quirks that are a mystery to me where he got them from. He’s always loved olives. He’s a big fan of the backstreet boys, and his favorite color is pink and purple and gold. He is remarkably talented in the nuances of language and he loves math all day every day. On the other hand I was always really good at drawing, and I can’t get him to pick up a pencil for the life of me hahahaha!
