This is their first time touring in Thailand. 📍MAREEMs A Thai alternative rock / post-punk / new wave band with an 80s–90s music style. The name MAREEMs comes from the town of Mae Rim in Chiang Mai. Most of their songs are related to life experience, love and politics in their own ways by using English so that the audience can understand a wide range of what they are presenting. 📍Bikinizone In order to finally be able to tell the caseworker at the employment agency that she does, in fact, have a future in life, Bikinizone made this album. Using an obsolete keyboard obtained through inherited West German connections, Bikinizone operates somewhere between electro, punk, and Deutsche Neue Welle. COMMUNION III sabbath edition sunday 14 december 10pm 100b suggested donation @cavecavecnx wrapping up our communion weekend w/ a live visuals installation by @princesstaroza and special guest dj set from @ana1_luo featured artist bios: Princess Taroza is a Mandaya descendant and post-disciplinary artist from the Philippines, among others. Her practice was formed from fiction and documentary filmmaking with film collectives and indigenous cultural communities in Southern Philippines whilst organizing film screenings of independent regional films in alternative spaces with the film collective Pasalidahay. Recently, she has been experimenting with other forms, expanding her practice outside time-based formats leaning into interactive installation, site-specific light & video projection, sound, improv, and performance working with found objects, CCTV, mirrors, the body and bioplasma as means for storytelling and technomancy. Co-founder of @vulnerable.club , Ana1 is dedicated to uncovering sounds from the post-periphery, with the label rooted in underground scenes across developing countries. Years on the dance floor have shaped Ana1’s unique musical sensibility. As a professional screenwriter, he uses his sets to throw listeners between bodily disorientation and hyper-theatrical sonic experiences—attempting to deconstruct every serious narrative with electronic music, while injecting strange humor and raw energy.
