and for my final trick of the year… I moved to LA!
2023 was one for the record books. In the fall of 2022 I quit my corporate job with nothing else lined up, ended my lease in my first apartment alone, and left the city I had called home for the last three years. I spent the next 365 days traveling from city to city, and country to country. From Palm Springs to Bilbao, New York to Dublin, Boston to Glasgow, and everywhere in between. Each place I traveled to this year felt a little bit like home in some way, I’d like to think it had something to do with all the people I met along the way. To everyone I danced with, laughed with, sang with, coerced into making content with, thank you 🫶
I’m ending this year with a new job lined up, a new apartment in a new city, and amazing memories to keep me fulfilled until the next flight is booked. ✈️
