I'm Anabelle and this is my dance account! I post myself dancing, teaching, working on projects, and having fun! I love kids and teaching them all about dance too. I have been in a handful of projects since moving to Austin and am always down to do more. I love to learn, collab, and perform!

Taking applications for creatives to collaborate on a dance short film shooting in late May/ early June 2026 in Austin, Texas.
The film will include themes of feminine allure, savagery, and mythology in the modern world.

this was such a fun scene! The water was so cold and we had mounds of dirt in our hands. So as I’m crawling, I was trying to preserve the dirt lololol. Our dresses turned wet and cold so we hung them to dry, but it ended up making them even more freezing. So many funny memories were made during this project!!!! ^_^ <3

some clips from my solo “Smoke Break” (January 2026)
This was an explorative work for me because I hadn’t really choreographed much since I had graduated. So last spring I began playing with this idea when I heard my boyfriend playing “Take 5” on the piano. The tune made me think of a working man in a suit smoking a cigarette lol.
This image really inspired my movement and choices. The title of the song being “Take 5” reminded me of someone saying “take a five minute break” and had me thinking about how taking a five minute break surely isn’t enough time to recover from anything. At the time I was working 8 hour days every day. On weekends and holidays I was savoring each moment and never felt ready to return to hustle culture.
These thoughts and ideas created my solo “Smoke Break”— a commentary on the toxicity of hustle culture and today’s workforce obligations.
Thank you @254_dance_fest for giving me a space to share my work. Can’t wait to keep creating and sharing.

This weekend I got to debut my piece “Smoke Break”! This is the first full length choreographic work I have created post grad. (Aside from the kid’s recitals of course). 💕💕💕🚬🚬🚬

Thanks for all the sweet comments and encouragement! Everyone was so nice. For now, “Smoke Break” will return to my back pocket, but perhaps she will come out again some time! Excited to create more stuff…… coming super soon 👀 ❤️❤️❤️
