Last September, Waking Matter II, 2025 was installed @dulwichgallery by the Director @jenartscott and Creative Producer @alexmoorephoto
Waking Matter II uses over 1 tonne of āsurplusā marble from the Carrara quarry in Italy ā famous as the source for Michelangeloās Renaissance sculptures. By walking around and under the sculpture, viewers can reflect on the potential of art to emerge out of natural materials.
This public artwork is free to visit during opening hours as it is sited alongside other artworks including @robandnick@makikoharris@harold_offeh in the Lovington Sculpture Garden designed by land architect Kim Wilkie. It is open daily from 10-5pm. #publicartwork #publicrealm #sculpture

How do you enter the art world? Can you make it without going to art school? Can you get back into the art world after years away?
Join us on Sunday 17 May at @form_i_c_a to find out. The event, hosted by @bathartdepot , will begin with a short series of informal presentations by Kelsey Cruz-Martin (@kelseycruzmartin ), Amy Stephens (@amystephensstudio ), Hannah Murgatroyd (@hannah_murgatroyd ) and Marly Merle (@marlymerle ). Hettie Judah (@hettiejudah ) will then moderate a Q&A session where you will be able to ask her those burning questions.
Guests will also have a chance to buy a signed copy of her new book āHow to Enter the Art World after a late start, a first career, illness, raising children, a crisis of confidence, leaving it in disgustā (published 23 April 2026) at the end of the event.
Hettie Judah is a writer, and curator of the acclaimed exhibition Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood. The author of numerous books on art, she is well known as a critic, columnist, broadcaster and advocate for artistsā rights.

Decennial: A Creative Legacy - A beautiful publication created by @artseen_contemporary to celebrate 10 years of the gallery in Nicosia, Cyprus.
I feel honoured to have been part of this journey with such an array of incredible artists. From 3 solo exhibitions to an artist residency @nimac_cy to @vima.artfair last year. The geological landscape of Cyprus has become home from home.
Congratulations @mariastathip - Thank you for trusting and believing in me but also for forcing me to take risks with my artistic practice. Hereās to the next 10 years.
Rehearsal I, II and III, 2025 where architecture is able to infiltrate everyday objects, nature crosses into sculpture and minerals define the space. Part of my artistic process is the reappropriation of an existing artwork or matter from our daily environment. This process holts the moment an artwork is sold and leaves the studio.
Iām thrilled to see a commission I made for a client in the UK that has now moved with the owner to Boston.
Five different tree species including hazel, elm, beech, willow and oak branches are cast in bronze. The metal frames the natural element that is rooted in a complex conversation surrounding the various environments that we move through and work within on a daily basis.

š„LAST CHANCE Natureās Stage exhibition by @amystephensstudio has been extended till 24th of January
ā”ļøVisit Monday, Wednesday, Friday 16:00 - 19:00 or contact us to visit by appointment
āFor Amy Stephensā third solo exhibition at Art Seen, the artist stages potent encounters between the Cypriot landscape, sculptural materials and the human body. She creates dynamic spaces for questioning the relationships between people, places and the role of art to reframe a sense of environmental belonging.
Stephens is a writer of forms. Everyday materials are carefully constructed into objects that transform and disrupt the physical landscape. In this exhibition, artworks have been assembled over time in an unrestricted way. Architecture infiltrates objects, nature crosses into sculpture and minerals define the space.ā

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud, 2025
Archival pigment print, tape
H31 x W22.5cm
This photographic collage depicts a lush area found on the eastern coast of Cyprus. The title of the artwork is by the 18th century English Poet William Wordsworth where he describes an encounter with a field of dancing daffodils. These famous words are embossed onto silver tape and reinserted back onto the image. The poems draws inspiration from the immediate landscape capturing the healing powers of the natural world.
The exhibition Natureās Stage is open in Nicosia, Cyprus @artseen_contemporary until the 16th January.
Gallery opening times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-7pm
Golden Matter, 2025
Bronze, flock, wood
23 x 17 x 16cm
In this artwork, the artist has sourced a piece of celadonite mineral that often forms in altered volcanic rocks like basalt through hydrothermal action or weathering. The mineral has been cast in bronze and highly polish offering an insight into the artistās process. The precious metal is pitched against the striking velvet green texture, a nod to the delicate landscape. The bright shade is like a painted note against the hard material of the bronze raising conversations about the codependency of nature and the manmade.
The exhibition Natureās Stage is now open in Nicosia, Cyprus @artseen_contemporary Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-7pm

My heart leaps up, 2025
Archival pigment print, pencil, magnets, steel, celadonite
47 x 59 x 4 cm
āmy heart leaps up is a tiny colour photograph of a Cypriot rainbow where the title nods to a line of a poem by William Wordsworth as the image reflects the passing of time and the fleeting moment of nature as a stage.ā
