So many of you have been reading Forgiveness and reaching out to share how it's landing and honestly, your messages have moved me deeply. Thank you. 🤍
I wanted to let you know that we've just released a free video series and study guide to go alongside the book — designed for small groups, churches, or anyone who wants to work through these ideas together in community. Because honestly, this topic goes so much deeper when we explore it with others. There's something about discussing forgiveness together — really sitting with it, wrestling with it — that allows it to do a different kind of work in us.
The videos and study guide are completely free. If you've been thinking about taking the book into your small group or church community, this is a great way to do that. Link in bio - I really hope it's a blessing to you and the people you do life with.

If forgiveness feels impossible right now, this word is for you.
Forgiveness doesn't mean minimising what happened. It doesn't mean forgetting. Sometimes we think we've forgiven, and then a memory resurfaces. Something triggers us again. We feel all the feelings all over again — and we think, clearly I haven't forgiven.
But that's not true.
Forgiveness doesn't mean forgetting, and forgiveness doesn't mean minimising the harm that occurred. Forgiveness is releasing the debt and the impetus to get vengeance, and trusting God with ultimate justice for what's happened to you.
And that is a journey. It's a process. It takes place over time. It's not a moment — it's a direction you keep choosing, even on the hard days when the memories come flooding back.
So if you feel exhausted with forgiveness right now, if you're wondering whether you're the one failing at this — this book is for you. You are not failing. And you are not alone in this.
I pray it meets you exactly where you are and brings you the freedom that forgiveness makes possible.

One of the most joy-filled parts of this whole journey has been meeting readers - in person, online, in the most unexpected places. People who picked up Forgiveness carrying something heavy, and found something in its pages that helped.
If that's been your experience - if this book has moved you, challenged you, or given you something you needed, would you consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads?
Your words carry more weight than you know. Someone out there is searching for a way through and your honest reflection on what this book meant to you could be exactly what helps them take the next step.

This book was born not from theory but from life. From sitting with people carrying things that felt unforgivable. From wrestling with it myself.
Forgiveness isn't weakness. It isn't forgetting.
Forgiveness is the greatest gift the Christian faith can offer our age. And our culture has almost forgotten how to practice it. I wrote this to help us find it again.

Forgiveness is not weakness. It is grace in action.
On the latest episode of Common Sense with Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. @amyorrewing shares the remarkable story of a woman whose father was murdered by the IRA during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Raised by a mother who prayed for the strength to forgive, she later found herself face-to-face with a former IRA member and had to decide whether forgiveness was simply something she believed or something she was willing to live. Her response is a powerful reminder that Christian forgiveness does not erase evil, excuse injustice, or minimize suffering. It shows the transforming power of God’s grace in the hardest places.
