It will be a blue Christmas this year without him.
I used to help him put the Christmas lights on the house. It was a very organized meticulous task. The strings would never be tangled, as he had them wound and zip-tied each year. He would unfurl them, plug āem in and lay them on the grass to see which had burnt out. I had the job to get the box of spare bulbs (these were those old timey big bulb Christmas lights, not the little cutesy ones they have today) and replace the duds. But of course I had to follow the pattern, we couldnāt have 2 red bulbs next to each otherā¦ESCANDOLO! I loved this undertaking, as I am my fatherās daughter. I love you Dad.
Iām still processing and donāt quite have the words other than I loved and will miss my Dad, no matter what.

The only socials Iām on these days are business related, and what a FREEING experience that has been for this racing brain empathic FOMO freakazoid over here! So I am sorry to have missed all of your delightful posts and worlds and lives and cats.

There are a couple of things Iāve always wanted to do but didnāt think I could w my health crap; own a shop and be a window display artist like #RhodaMorgenstern Both things have happened over the past 5 months.
#ComicAsylum has gone from a truly great comic shop, to a great very organized comic shop with several themed areas, and expanded our merch to include books, @originalfunko , pins, socks, lunchboxes, puzzles, games, DnD, coloring booksā¦I mean thereās something for every nerd you know.
Itās a pleasure to be in that environment, especially when DJ Amayze has curated the tunes to match. š
THEN, we get to do the window displays at the @marypickfordtheatre !! Theming them to the movie/comic crossovers.
Iām in pop culture heaven.
I am grateful to Chicks for passing the torch my way, and to Joe, who does all of the heavy lifting and fidgety hoo-haw.

We had a private screening with our shop @comicasylumpalmdesert and @marypickfordtheatre last night and now we have #comics and merch that will start this fall off with a fright!
