A question that I am often asked is… how do you deal with your imperfection?
I have always thought of my birthmark as my barrier against unaccepting people, if someone is going to say something mean about how I look, they are not the kind of people I need in my life, it also says more about them than it does about you. I feel so grateful for how I look now and that the many opportunities it has given me. It has taught me to be myself and the right people will love me for me. No point in hiding yourself from the world! Just be you! Real girls are never perfect and perfect girls are not real. 💕

Looking at this photo takes me back to when I was a little girl and didn’t have anyone who looked like me in magazines, on TV, or online. I didn’t have a role model with a birthmark to look up to or remind me that being different could still be beautiful.
That’s why awareness and representation matter so much. If sharing my journey helps even one little girl feel seen, confident, or proud of the skin she’s in, then it means everything to me. I want to keep spreading awareness, normalising visible differences and showing that beauty doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from embracing who you are. 🤍✨
