Oh Franny. It’s been nearly a week, and each day a bit of the numbness subsides making room for the pain which grows ever deeper - a sharp blade digging and twisting its way through the crevices of my heart. My beautiful wild child - your spirit has always been larger than life. Your unique blend of crazy and genius has gifted me with so many blissful memories over the past 19 years- and I’m not ready for you to exist as only memories. The past few weeks have been busy preparing for yesterday. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to honor the one year mark for our community. @dawestheband@erickrasno thank you for your kindness, professionalism, immense talent, and selflessness in bringing this world class collaboration to life. Altadena was such a thriving creative hub before the fire and last night was a reminder of all of the energy and passion that still radiate from what remains - and a glimpse at all of the beauty yet to come as we rebuild together. I cried all of the tears and will carry these feelings with me for a very long time. @kevinlyman you are generosity and love personified. Thanks for allowing me to help our community have this moment together.
