Rollin’ on w/ Joe’ Pilates Archival Mat and a bit o’ history! This month I am honoring the 34 OG mat exercises published in Joseph Pilates’ book ‘Return to Life’ (1945). Did you know that Joseph Pilates did not call his amazing physical fitness method “Pilates”?? The name he gave to his method was ‘CONTROLOGY’. JP beleived that it was’t the exercises alone that had merit, but their precise perfromance of them was the key to unlocking their transformational power.
