This is by far one of my most detailed pieces to date and I’m quite proud, it took longer than expected but I learned a lot from it and I’m excited for future paintings.
We lost one of the most generous and caring souls I’ll ever meet. After so many years of fighting and months of being stuck in a bed, I’m just glad you’re free to spread your wings. No more suffering to hold you down, no more pain to keep you glued to that bed. I may not be a man of God, but I know you’ll never leave my side. I know you’re still going to watch me grow and see all of the accomplishments along the way. I wish you knew how much of me came from you. Without you, I wouldn’t be the adult I am today, and I thank you for that every day. I wish you knew how wonderful of a mother you were; not once did I ever think otherwise. You were always putting everyone before yourself, even in these last few months, but I hope you realized just how loved and cared for you were. We all wanted to take care of you and to see you grow strong again. You fought endlessly, and now you deserve your rest. I hope Gabe and you cause absolute chaos while you guys wait for the rest of us to catch up. I love you, Mother, and I always will. Watch over me as I grow.
