@amticocommercial returns to @clerkenwelldesignweek in 2026 with The Amtico Retreat, marking its first appearance at the festival in seven years. Taking over Paxton Locher House, the British flooring designer and manufacturer presents a space designed to offer a more considered pace within one of the industry’s most high-energy design events.
Clerkenwell Design Week is known for its energy, with installations, talks and experiences unfolding across the district. Rather than stepping away from that intensity, Amtico reinterprets it – creating an environment that balances activity with moments of pause, allowing visitors to slow down, reset and engage more meaningfully, in a way that suits them.

Step inside Meadowhill Care Home.
Designed to feel calm, consistent and easy to navigate, the interiors balance comfort with long-term practicality across shared and private spaces.
A continuous flooring approach runs throughout bedrooms and corridors, helping to reduce visual disruption, while changes in laying direction subtly define different areas without the need for thresholds.
It’s a considered approach – supporting both the look of the space and how it’s experienced day to day.

Parquet is a simple and effective way to shape how a space feels. It can guide movement or subtly define different areas - adding structure without over complicating the floor.
And with hundreds of designs across our Signature, Spacia, Form and Marine LVT collections, it's easy to carry that design language across projects in all sectors.
Design the floor around the scheme – or the scheme around the floor.
With Amtico Signature, every design can be pushed further. Pattern, layout, colour – refined, adjusted or taken fully bespoke.
It’s about creating something that feels considered from the ground up.
Introducing The Amtico Retreat.
A space designed to slow things down at @ClerkenwellDesignWeek – where materials can be explored, conversations can unfold, and ideas can develop at a more considered pace.
Drop in for a moment, or stay a little longer. The space is designed to work around you.

The part of a project no one sees.
Layouts change.
New ideas get introduced halfway through.
What worked on paper doesn’t quite work in the space.
It’s all part of how a scheme evolves.
The difference is having the right support behind those decisions – so changes don’t slow everything down, and ideas can be refined as they develop.
Because the best projects rarely follow a straight line.
Swan Street House in Manchester merges modern design with a community vibe, showcasing York Oak in Chantilly Weave from the Amtico Signature collection alongside oak hues from Amtico First, all complemented by contemporary finishes that radiate warmth and sophistication.

Do you know when a slip-resistant floor isn't a safety floor? Because a 36+ label doesn't tell the full story.
Many commercial LVT floors achieve slip test results above 36 PTV (assessed using a wet pendulum test) - including our standard Signature, Spacia and Form LVT, but a test result at the point of manufacture doesn’t make it safety flooring.
To comply with the BS EN 13845 Enhanced Slip Standard, slip resistance has to be retained over time - even after wear. That’s the difference for safety flooring.
Amtico Safety LVT is engineered with slip-resistant particles throughout the wear layer, helping maintain performance beyond initial test results.
Because safety isn’t just about how a floor performs on day one - it’s making sure it performs and protects over time.
Designing commercial spaces is rarely about one single element.
It’s about how materials, layout and light work together.
With its mix of woods, stones and flexible formats, Spacia is designed to support those interiors quietly – giving designers a dependable flooring palette across multiple sectors.

Designed to bring clarity and connection into the workplace, Butterfield Bank’s Jersey office balances collaboration with defined spaces through considered flooring design.
Amtico Spacia Terrazzo and Marble designs are used to zone the interior, from breakout areas to shared spaces. A Checkerboard laying pattern introduces a more classic, structured feel, while Uniform Tile allows the terrazzo finish to take centre stage.
Paired with oak tones laid in Large Parquet, the scheme shifts between materials and patterns to subtly guide movement and purpose throughout the space.
