Since I was a kid, there’s probably no one I’ve felt a kinship with more than book character Amelia Bedelia. Her whimsical misunderstanding of every imaginable directive made her not only charming, but infinitely relatable to every neurodivergent girl on earth. In fact, her wackiness in part inspired the theme of this issue of @nectarinemagazine because, as you can see, Amelia’s perspective isn’t like everyone else’s. What can I say? I love treating hands like they’re people (See @nectarinemagazine Dreams cover starring @itsyasara ’s gorgeous digits!) Inspired by the tiny c-stand I finally bought on a whim, and some custom Nectarine apple boxes, this shoot for the Perspective issue of @nectarinemagazine came together better than I even expected. Please do not miss the tiny tape rolls, sandbags, cords etc made by hand by @amesbond who is the greatest miniaturist I know 🥹 thank you to @stephaniegonot for shooting 📸 hand models @shelbydate + @m_a_r_y_m_o_r_g_a_n_ for being down to play 🤚@candacevkim for gorgy nails and @wetnoodlesinc for retouching 🤌

2025: the year in work. A weird, inconsistent one but got into my groove midway.
