As a coffee lover and self proclaimed coffee aficionado, visiting Japan was like a third wave coffee pilgrimage. I was like a kid in a candy shop. Missed out on many celebrated stores like
@koffee_mameya_kakeru @bluebottlejapan and
@onibuscoffee this time though.

@kurasu.kyoto Coffee at its finest. Super friendly Baristas and an amazing experience overall. Fantastic range of coffee beans to choose from. It was also the first time I tried coffee from Thailand, which was perfect for a Cortado.
3, 4 & 5 %Arabica
@arabica.kyoto Founded in Kyoto, their Kyoto Latte is absolutely delicious and the view overlooking the #katsura river in #arashiyama
6, 7, 8 & 9
@glitch_coffee Super popular amongst the coffee community in Japan and overseas, if coffee had a Michelin rating, this would be a 3 star. Fine (coffee) drinking at its best. Almost like an Omakase. Shout out to the Barista, Ryu for the fantastic pour over and great conversation.

@bricolage_bread_and_company Although not a specialty coffee shop, the drip coffee was fab and the croissant was lovely to go with it. A fantastic breakfast option in #roppongi
