FUTURISTIC HAVELI🧞‍♂️ Old walls, new rhythm and an unforgettable sunrise. Everyone showed up looking insane. I spent half the night just admiring the fits. @irenee.s_music on the console with local Rajasthani folk artists, easily stole the show. An afternoon in bloom 🌺🥂 The welcome lunch unfolded in a hybrid look by Anamika Khanna, anchored in colour, evolving with the hours. The setting came together as a garden tableau. Fresh florals, green and red accents, striped details, and fruit woven through the decor. An Aperol–Campari cart sat within the space, perfectly in sync with the mood. Framed illustrations of our dogs appeared as a small, personal detail. Karan wore a cutwork linen set in icy blue for the morning, before changing into a mint green bundi with subtle red accents for the lunch, both by Kunal Rawal. A slow afternoon of petals, conversation, and live music humming beneath it all. A celebration that lingered quietly in its details. Snippets from our Dholki + Mehendi night 🌙 For our first celebration in Jaisalmer, I leaned into a neo-traditional mood. Indian colour and ceremony, seen through a contemporary lens. I wore a heritage Sabya lehenga with a custom colourway of his iconic floral top, rendered in purple. Styled with red roses, of course, and subtle personal interventions. Borders shortened. Proportions adjusted. Small edits that made it feel personal. Karan was dressed in a leather-infused koti paired with a kurta salwar by Shantanu & Nikhil. Traditional at its core, with just enough edge to shift the narrative. I skipped the expected Punjabi tikka and chose a rare passa my sister and I discovered while jewellery hunting through Jaipur and Delhi. Finished with assorted kadas and a bespoke hairpiece. Details that felt storied, not styled. At the venue, we set up a parandi and bangle station. Handpicked. Intentional. Playful. Once the parandis were tied and the mehndi set in, the evening slowly turned into an intimate Punjabi mela. Exactly as it should. Grateful to @sabyasachiofficial and team, Amit and Leena, for executing my look so seamlessly.
