The application deadline (5/15/26) is approaching for the new AOS Bridge/Completion Grants aimed at supporting AOS members who recently lost previously awarded funding as a result of U.S. federal policy changes and grant cuts. The first round of funding will provide funding to support project or program completion for AOS members who were nearing the end of a degree, program, or research project when federal funding for that initiative was canceled. In particular, the AOS aims to support students and early-career professionals by providing “bridge” funding that allows them to complete a project or degree and continue their professional path in the field of ornithology. Applications due by 15 May 2026. #AOSgrants See link to grants in our profile.
