Allow me to reintroduce myself 👋 We've got some new faces around here, and like every teacher at heart, I love a good ice breaker 🧊
We are a small, female-founded business and we're big on keeping things personal. So here's a little bit about me, who just so happens to be that female founder 😉
👩🏫 I taught Kindergarten before starting Amore - in the very same classroom where I went to Kindergarten!
🧑🧑🧒 I have a 12 year old son, Kiefer, who’s currently deep in his Beatles era (swipe ➡️). I'm still trying to get him into 90's hip hop but one decade at a time...
🐶 I also have a goldendoodle, Livingstone, who will never shy away from a photo shoot (Exhibit A). Livi is named after the city in Zambia where I finally convinced my husband to get a puppy.
🌃 I lived in NYC for grad school, which is why I decided to launch our NY branch. Business decision? Yes. Great excuse to visit? Also yes.
📺 In another life, or a preview of a future life, I was news anchor / talk-show host. Right now I keep the dream alive as a local media contributor— it’s one of my favorite things I do.
💞 I’m close friends with many of my former students. Once you’re in the Amore fam, you’re always in. It is confusing that they keep getting older while I stay the same age though… right?

Whether she’s in the classroom or in a coaching session her work has always centered on one thing: helping young artists grow. 🎭
