today is Furii day. the first album from our first signing and it’s the most incredible record. a huge shout out to cardiacs fans, jo spratley and our own dear adrien rodes. don’t sleep on this one it’s stunning. (video clip from forthcoming video hand made by shy1)
back when i was DJ’ing most my time was spent trying out combinations of tracks that might fit musically together through tyranny of will. even if i had to pitch correct or loop in order to match key and/or bar range live which i did all the time. the kids thought I was playing remixes but the five DJ dorks in the audience knew what was up : )
It took us seven years to sign someone which does seem like a long time. this week Furii shows off his first EP on Nomark. between the instrumentation, the writing and jo spratley’s inspired vocals it was worth the wait for us.
