Members of the Amnesty St. Marys London Stratford community group recently met and wrote letters in support of Bill C-61 and clean water for First National communities.
Together with traditional letters, messages to the PM and Minister Mandy Gull-Masty were also written on water drops, with the ask of: "Do not water down Bill C-61!"

For Palestinians, every day is Nakba Day.
For 78 years, Israel has denied Palestinians their right to return home - violating international law and UN resolutions. Dispossession, displacement, and fragmentation continue to define Palestinian lives.
Israel must stop its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and end its unlawful occupation of Palestinian territory. It must grant Palestinian refugees their right of return.
Palestinians do not simply mark the Nakba; every aspect of their lives is marked by its continuation.

Digital spaces have long been tools for racialized migrant women and 2SLGBTQI+ people - to build community, share experiences, and challenge erasure.
But as anti-migrant rhetoric rises in Canada, those same spaces are being used to target them.
Our new report, “The Hate is Intersectional,” draws on interviews and social media analysis to expose an online pipeline of hate - where racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia converge.
Misinformation blames migrants for broader economic and social issues. Online, this becomes dehumanization, harassment, and threats. This is technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TfGBV) - and it’s growing.
The impacts are real: fear, self-censorship, and harm that extends offline.
