Got invited by @tresemme , one of the official partners of the film, for a special screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2 and I had such a good time.
Before going, I rewatched the first movie and the nostalgia hit me immediately đ„č. It reminded me why this film is still such an iconic fashion comfort movie.
The whole experience was so fun. Good food, amazing vibes, live painting artists doing portraits (wait until you see mine đ), and of course the VIP cinema experience at Forum. If youâve never tried this VIP theaters before⊠the reclining seats alone are worth it lol.
Hereâs a little recap of the night + my look đ„°

Hair as art.
One thing this hair recovery journey taught me? I missed playing with my hair.
After losing my curls from a hair botox treatment, I got so focused on âfixingâ my hair that I stopped doing one of the things I love most: experimenting with styles and treating my hair like art.
But Iâve been reconnecting with that part of myself again by trying different looks, sculpting my hair in new ways.
It reminded me how magical our hair is. The volume, the shapes, the versatility, the elegance. Our hair literally defies gravity and can be transformed into so many beautiful forms.
So hereâs one of the styles I created at home recently. Super easy to do, but so inspiring to me.
Hair is art. And I really want to honor that more in this journey â€ïž

My mom gave me this linen fabric the last time I visited her in Senegal⊠and told me to create whatever I wanted with it.
At first, I wasnât sure about the nude color. But then I realized this is exactly the kind of timeless piece my wardrobe was missing.
So I made the perfect pair of pants: mid-waist, straight fit, clean, classic⊠the kind you can wear over and over again.
And for once? They actually fit my height. No âalmost long enough.â Exactly how I wanted them. But what made this piece really special⊠is that when I unpacked the fabric, it smelled like her đ„čâ€ïž.
When your mom / family lives on another continent, you hold onto the little things. And this feels like carrying a piece of her with me, everywhere I go.
What do you think?
