To create the Michaela Coel-inspired silk bun, I started with the Amika range, using the Wizard Silicone-Free Detangling Primer to prep the hair. This helped smooth and hydrate, creating the perfect base for styling.
Once the hair was sleek and controlled, I applied the Superfruit Star Lightweight Styling Oil to protect the strands while adding a healthy, luminous shine.
For definition and a flawless finish, I used a high-hold hair wax to sculpt and smooth the edges, ensuring a clean, polished look.
Finally, I set the style in place with the Fluxus Touchable Hairspray, giving the bun extra hold while maintaining a soft, touchable finish.
