I was so delighted to be invited into Amicable’s The Divorce Podcast recently to talk about something we often shy away from. When I got divorced, I used to think it meant my marriage had failed and that I had failed too. But here’s what I’ve learned: divorce doesn’t erase the love, memories or lessons that came before. 💔✨ Endings are not failures - they’re invitations to grow. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is accept that a chapter has closed and trust that it’s part of the bigger story of who we’re becoming.
@amicable_world is doing such important work in making separation kinder and less intimidating. I wish they had been around when I was going through it! This felt like such an open and thoughtful chat and I can’t wait for you to hear it. Episode is out now - listen wherever you get your podcasts 🎧

That's Libby Brodie in last week's episode - and it stopped us in our tracks too.
She promised to take care of their relationship. And she believes she has - it just looks different now. Instead of a marriage, it's a co-parenting relationship built on respect, communication and doing right by their kids.
It's a different way of thinking about what commitment really means – and a reminder that how you separate matters just as much as how you loved 🧡

Research shows it's not divorce itself that's hard for children. It's the conflict that can surround it.
That changes everything about how we think about separation - and what parents can do.
Choosing to keep things respectful, cooperative and child-focused isn't always straightforward. But it's one of the most important things parents can do for their children.
This National Children's Day, that's the conversation we want to have 🧡

A few words from Kate at the launch of 'amicable divorce' 🧡
Behind every book is a team of people who believed in it, and this one was written to make sure that moment of clarity comes sooner for the people who need it most.
Huge love and thanks to every single person who helped bring it to life. If you're navigating separation and looking for a kinder way through, Kate's book is a great place to start.

How you communicate with your ex after separation shapes everything that follows.
The practical decisions, the co-parenting, the day-to-day. And yet it's something most people have to figure out on their own.
On Wednesday 14th May at 12:30, amicable co-founder Kate Daly is joined by Allison O'Brien, leadership development consultant, to talk about exactly that.
Together they'll explore why communication breaks down after separation, how to handle the difficult conversations, and the practical tools that can help you build something calmer and more constructive – whatever stage you're at.
45 minutes with Q&A included 🧡
Can't make it live? The session will be available to watch back in amicable space afterwards, so you can come to it whenever the time is right.
