Why did I write "Feeling good"?
I wrote this song in Corona times, when we were all in lockdown, everything was miserable and we all missed our friends and families. I also missed being allowed to play live, go out with my friends and just missed the upbeat lifestyle we all used to have.
So I sat down and wrote about memories of those fun times, dancing with friends, making new friends and just enjoying life. I wanted it to be upbeat and I wanted something people could shout out.
I always liked this song but was never fully satisfied with it which is why its taken so long to be recorded and was also never played live, other than on the live streams throughout Corona times, where I played it together with my old friend Tom. As duet, it sounded great with his harmonies and guitar licks.
I hope you all enjoy it on Friday and can have a little boogie 😉
