Sports inspired fashion is becoming more and more popular, and thankfully the sports themselves are too as more people are getting active. Last year it seemed like Tennis-core was everywhere, but Grind City Golf is making sure golf has its moment.
The small slow and quiet luxury brand thought golf wear needed an upgrade and come full swing with these fresh looks. The boxy fits, clean cut and cool designs are not the same as your dad’s golf.
Each piece is custom made to order too. Check out the designs over at their page ⛳️ @grindcity.golf .

Self taught Atlanta and Detroit based artist, Johnny Floyd’s surrealist painting style combines Black figuration with abstract and archival designs on sewn canvases, wood panel, and cotton paper.
His technicolor paintings are technical in quality through his vast painting style that at times appear to be mixed media or screenprints, but are a meticulous use of an array of paints such as oil, watercolor, india ink, acrylic, wax, and natural dyes.
His most recent work, “Ace of Pentacles,” depicts a cropped image of the closed eyes of a Black child, appearing to make a wish, dream or manifest, which likely speaks to the themes of the Ace of Pentacles card which represents, a new, highly auspicious beginning in the material world, signaling potential for financial gain, career opportunities, or stability.”
His work is currently on view in “minor Arcana at Sheetcake Gallery in Memphis, Tennessee, which reimagines the tarot. Swipe to check out the work on view and a few of his other works.

Chicago based coffee concept shop @buenodays.coffee are offering more drip than just coffee. They just dropped these “Made possible by Immigrants” dad hats in response to the ongoing anti-immigration policies being passed and ICE raids occurring across the United States.
Bueno Days is an independent, Mexican-American owned “coffee experience” company located in Chicago’s Little Village that was founded by Cristobal and Alma Mora. They are known for experiential, culturally inspired drinks — good coffee with a statement.

Self taught abstract artist, Milan Young (@mlanyoung ), delves into color theory and the cultural and societal issues of today in her vibrant works of art that incorporate mark making, text, and a flow of consciousness inspired by her scientific research and maximalism. Her works often ride the line between chaos and control, and are a direct reflection of her emotional and mental state at the time of making. Her work falls within a lineage of Black abstract expressionist painters like Norman Lewis and Alma Thomas.
The Brooklyn based artist made these two works last year taking a nod from popular Beyoncé song “America Has a Problem” and swapping out the word “has” for “is” as a poignant commentary on the current state of our union.

Bringing you a new song from rapper, Elton Aura to ground your Earth Day 🌎
There are certain things we take for granted in life, and today shouldn’t be one of them. Last month Elton Aura dropped thisreflective track and video “Daily Bread,” taken from The Lord’s Prayer and daily teachings and values to live by. The song is just that, a celebration of the small quiet moments as seen in this visualizer of Aura reading his pages, watering his plants, playing his guitar, caring for his body and simply being.
Lovely vocals from @jazstarr___ and mixed and mastered by @classickstudios .
Elton Aura will also be taking over @rebuild_foundation ’s The Land School this Saturday.
Peep the track here.
Love these terracotta clay pieces made by visual artist, Tuere Nicole Lawton that she made during her Vermont Studio Center Residency last Spring.

Residencies are the perfect opportunity leave your comfort zone and stretch your practice, explore new materials, and connect with new communities and yourself as an artist. If youre thinking about applying for any residency or programme, this is your sign to do it!
The Brooklyn based artist is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Art at Yale. Check out what work she’s creating in her program now at @tuerenicolee .
