This project with brought to us by @kimarmstronginteriordesign , who had been working with this stylish client @masion_de_mon_coeur on designing a beautiful custom English inspired kitchen. The main goals were to bring in light and create a kitchen with an old quality that can be hard to achieve with new construction. Kim handed over her gorgeous inspirations and we got to work finalizing layouts and design appropriate for the space. We customized nearly every cabinet for the homeowners specific needs, and we meticulously discussed and executed every detail of this space. Some of these kitchen details include an oversized custom vent hood with custom plaster tint and a very old antique beam with custom made oversized corbels we designed, 2 new arched windows, beautiful Texas stone, @subzeroandwolf fridge with inset panels, furniture island made of white oak and hand turned custom designed legs, @newportbrass bridge faucet, and quartzite countertops with ogee edge details. #englishkitchen #englishkitchendesign #europeankitchen #antiquebeams #venthood #kitchendesignideas #designbuild #beforeandafterkitchen 📷 @aaron_dougherty_photo

We brainstormed and played a lot with the design of this ceiling. The 11ft tall ceilings needed some depth and warmth to complete the design for this kitchen and dining space. We ultimately went with a coffered ceiling with rounded crown moulding painted in the cabinet color, with an engineered flooring as the background.

This beautiful China hutch is full of thoughtful details the homeowner requested. On the outside we have seeded glass and beautiful hardware, but on the inside is where this cabinet stands out. The shelves were made adjustable with the saw tooth method, there are stained white oak shelves, and a contrasting v-groove backing. This cabinet is one of a kind, and we love being able to create these dreams for our clients.
