Realized a dream today! It was an amazing day and I felt prepared. So grateful for my wife @julianne__merry and son Arthur cheering me on from Boulder! And to @tallestmanonearth and my dad @wmmerry for crewing!
Tickets don’t come easy and there were so many great athletes competing out there today! Thanks to everyone who sent me energy today, it worked!!! 🙏🏽
Little rest, little training then me and the #boulderboys finna pull up to Olympic Valley in June! 🤠

Today I learned what it means to represent your country! 🇺🇸
It’s about trying your best and giving everything you’ve got all the way to the finish line! We don’t always have a stellar day, although 3 of my teammates did!!! But if you try your best, smile through the pain and show gratitude and love to those around you I don’t think there’s much more you can do to honor the Stars and Stripes!
So grateful for this experience and to come back to the USA with a bunch of new friends from the team!
A highlight of my year was getting to share the podium with those dudes! What an honor!

black canyon > ACG team camp in Palm Springs > roadtrip w/ Arthur back to Boulder on Sunday and he turned 3 yesterday! 😮💨
overall, just filled with motivation and gratitude for everyone supporting and rooting for me. 2026 is just getting started! 😁
probably the most ideal post-race salve to be surrounded by an unbelievable inspiring group of teammates and staff at ACG team camp. coming out fired up and ready to keep training hard and line up again soon!
999
“in numerology, 999 represents the completion of a major life cycle, signaling a powerful time of transformation, closure, and spiritual awakening.”

running for @nike@acg is a dream come true. im humbled and super grateful for all the love and support I’ve felt from so many this week. i hope to inspire, represent and race to my highest potential this year. thanks to everyone who has helped me get to this moment. 🙏🏽
balancing my responsibilities as a dad and training at a high level is really challenging at times. there are so many moments where im tired, question my readiness for a workout or a race, or wonder if im making the right decision in the moment for my training or family. one thing ive learned over the last couple years though is that doing hard things, being vulnerable, waxing and waning confidence and needing to lean on your support systems are part of a winning combination and we all experience these things as athletes. I know that choosing to chase my dreams and involving my family in that pursuit both makes them “pwoud” and makes me a better dad and partner.
excited to kick things off at @blackcanyonultras in a week!
🚨EMERGENCY POD🚨
As we announced this morning, @jenniferlichter & @amerryrunner are part of a major roster expansion for @acg ’s trail running team.
Fittingly, they’re both kicking off their respective 2026 racing seasons, and making their ACG debuts, at @blackcanyonultras next week — one of the most anticipated Golden Ticket races in memory.
We sat down for a quick podcast to chat about the new partnerships and how Jenn and Adam are feeling ahead of a highly consequential season opener.
Find the episode wherever you get your podcasts and make sure you tune in to Rest Day Live this evening at 5pm PT on YouTube where we’ll analyze fee agency season in its totality.
Best sport ever.

finding my stride again
my grandma used to always tell me “patience is a virtue”, implying it was something I didn’t have much of 😂. i’ve been trying to cultivate more of it in this season of training and life and so far it’s paying off.
i shared on the @boulderboys.show a couple episodes ago that i got a stress fracture in August and a bit of what it was like to go through and recover from (check it out if you want to hear the full story). the short of it is that it reminded me that the most powerful and best version of me is one that is strong and focused on celebrating the unique aspects of my body and mind that allow me to perform, even if they are different. i really appreciate the amateurs and pros who have reached out and, surprise, there’s actually a lot of folks who have experienced this same thing but it’s not talked about very often. If you’re going through it just know, be kind to yourself, be patient, you’re not alone, you’re not broken and your best days are ahead of you. that last part probably sounds hard to imagine if you’re currently going through it but trust me! the further you get the clearer and more evident that truth becomes.
there were a bunch of runs there that had me questioning whether running would ever feel natural again. it would be one good one then one that felt awkward. I wondered whether I’d get to feel flowy and powerful and that feeling where miles fly by again. like everyone says, it does come back! just gotta be patient, present and trust that all the hard work you did cross training will translate.
it’s definitely given me a renewed gratitude and appreciation for time spent on trails with friends and the opportunity to explore my athletic potential in training and in racing. as usual, the path i had charted wasn’t exactly what I was expecting but i know this trail im on has already made me stronger.
heading toward 2026 im filled with excitement, optimism and determination to race and perform to my potential. super grateful to get to do this.
think we might find one more start line tho before we close out the year 😁
