Had an epic few days hiking around the Three Sisters Mountains in central Oregon with @steveakation , @nschuder , @erokjaer . Did this hike a few years back when it was still mostly covered in snow. Was much better this time around!

All-Time shoot with team @vuoriclothing in DR and PR. Can’t wait to see what the crew creates from this trip. (Not sure what happened to the quality of my slo-mo vids)

MAMBA (middle aged male backpacker’s association) 2023 in the books. Grueling 45ish mile hike through fire ravaged “trails” in the mountains north of Detroit Lake, Oregon. The swimming holes, homies, and morning views where the best part. Already looking forward to next summer’s trip.

When Instagram attempts to gain more perpetual rights to your content by asking you to select random vids from your iphoto library for an edit template, you take that leap

When we found out our friends Paul and Brandon didn’t make it out of the towers on September 11th, 2001 I put together some video clips and photos from our 4 years at college, that we had just graduated from, to have something to remember them by and to share something at Paul’s funeral. In those days we didn’t have cell phones with cameras but I had a video camera that I would sometimes bring around and Later I used it to record some of the photos that were printed. Paul was a huge U2 fan and he turned me on to them and everyone else he could. We loved the song Bad, so when I wanted to make the video I took the tapes to the library video department and tried to stitch something together to the song. It was crude unskilled editing but it was all that I had left and being able to watch it meant the world to me. It was on a vhs tape and I watched it for years then uploaded it to a computer but it crashed years ago so without a vhs player I wasn’t able to see the video anymore. Today when a post from Mrs. C reminded me it was 9/11 I dug up the broken computer and was determined to find a way to rescue the video, which I managed to do. Most of the video I had was focused on Paul. He was truly one of the greatest loves of my life. After so many years, to see his smiling face as we did the dumb shit college kids do, it brought the magic of his spirit back to life for me and filled me with so much nostalgia. Both Paul and Brandon were the type of people who brought so many of us together from all walks of life. I wanted to post this to share it with all of you who loved those two legends and since it only lets me upload the first 90 seconds here I’ll upload the rest to YouTube and put the link in my bio in case anyone who wants to be able to see it. Lots of love to all of you on this day of remembrance.
