This spring, I had the joy of being a judge for @chicago_innovation ās Illinois Student Invention Convention. On Saturday, I was once again invited to be on a great panel of speakers at the student showcase and awards ceremony, talking to the girls about choosing career paths in STEAM and staying true to their eighth-grade selves. Middle school Amelia was beaming, and Iām so proud of these amazing students, their ingenuity, and all their awesome inventions.
Hey girl, are you a tornado? Cuz youāre blowinā me away ššŖļøš @1031forever blew through town this weekend with her entourage of delightful friends, and I was graced with her presence twice, once at @fronteragrill for a fabulous dinner and once at @msichicago to see if science can explain how we got to be so cute. Sometimes a friend comes along that is just the whole darn package, and thatās my Mimi š¤š¤
