In 2016, I was splitting my time working in television after 9 years in the job, while also trying to make a go of it professionally as a lighting designer. It ended up being a big year- turned 30, designed for productions that still stand out as favourites, won my first Greenroom, got to be part of the New Working Group and the inaugural MTC Women in Theatre program, all while working on arguably too many Channel 9 football shows as well as my personal favourite, Kids WB.
It’s a been a big and exciting decade. Can’t wait to see what the next one brings.

Congrats to DIASPORA for its return season! 6 years later (thanks Covid), but I’m so grateful for it to be shown again. For such a glorious technical feat of a show, it’s always good to see how the sausage gets made, especially when it involves @tamsaulwick and a green screen lazy Susan.

Farewell PLAGIARY. Thanks for giving me the chance to work at the amazing Noorderzon Festival in Groningen on my first international tour. I loved our small but mighty team of Alisdair, Pen and Zsuzsa, as well as our incredible local dancers and lovely Grand Theatre/ Noorderzon team. A heartfelt goodbye to my true love of Groningen- Eierbal (Egg Ball). I’ll miss you the most of all 🥚🤍
