Progress on site starts well before construction begins.
With active projects across Cleveland, Stradbroke Island, and Upper Mt Gravatt, AMD intentionally manages builds at different stages to keep internal teams and subcontractors moving efficiently across all sites.
Every project begins with a detailed site review led by key team members, assessing access, logistics, and overall buildability. From there, the office team works through front-end planning and design coordination to map out how the project will run.
Strong delivery comes from strong planning, setting each site up properly from day one.

PROXIME | Site Update 🚧
We caught up with Shaun from AMD for the latest progress update at PROXIME, and there’s been major movement across every level over the past month.
Level One is nearing completion, with plumbing fit-off almost finished and electrical works next in line before carpet installation begins.
Level Two is now well into painting and cabinetry, while tiling is progressing throughout Level Three.
On Level Four, plastering has wrapped up and rendering is now underway, with scaffold removal expected soon, a huge milestone as the exterior begins to reveal itself. Meanwhile, Level Five framing is complete and rough-ins are currently in progress.

Meet the Team | Pat
Pat has been part of the AMD team for the past four years, working as a carpenter across a range of projects.
His interest in the trade started back in school, where seeing a house being built sparked the decision to become a chippy, a path he continued through school-based work programs and into the industry. What Pat values most at AMD is the family environment. A crew that gets along, works hard, and gets things done together.
Currently working through pre-plaster stages with fit-outs approaching next, Pat takes the most pride in seeing a project go from an empty block to a completed build the whole team helped create.

BLANCA | MAJOR MILESTONE
Another major milestone on site at Blanca, with the team pouring the podium deck.
Using a dual pump setup, the crew is working efficiently to complete one of the key structural stages of the project. With the basement poured in recent weeks, attention has now shifted upward as the build continues to take shape.
Completion of the podium deck creates the platform for the next stages ahead, allowing the project to move forward with strong momentum.

Safety On Site | AMD Constructions
High-risk tasks on site require more than experience, they require planning, control, and the right people in place.
For major lifts and complex operations, full traffic management may be implemented to safely manage surrounding access and lane closures when required. During works such as tower crane installation, site access is restricted to essential personnel directly involved in the task.
Appropriate PPE remains mandatory for everyone on site, with dedicated team representatives overseeing operations to ensure works run safely and efficiently.
Safety isn’t a separate step in the process, it’s built into every stage of the job.

Q1 2026 | Project Snapshot

Euca is pushing through internal trades, while Manly has been successfully handed over, a great result for everyone involved. At Blanca, basement works are complete and the structure is now ready to rise.
