Legal mind. Free spirit. Manifestation expert - meet Maria Pilar Pescador Bermejo.
Three years ago, Pilar left the world of banking and took a leap - and from the very first conversation during her recruitment process, she knew she'd found her people.
As a Commercial Legal Counsel at Amdocs, Pilar works behind the scenes of some of the most complex deals in the industry - navigating contracts across continents, cultures, and languages, from South America to Europe.
Her superpower? Making things happen. Even when a negotiation stretches across a full year of late nights and tough calls, Pilar keeps her eyes on the finish line - and the celebration when everyone wins together.
But there's another side to Pilar that her contracts don't reveal. After work, you'll find her picking up her 6-year-old son from school, making homemade pizza, dancing freely in the living room, and reading bedtime stories. On weekends - hiking in the mountains, painting, laughing (yes, literally - she attends laughter therapy ), and connecting with her spiritual guides through meditation and reiki.
Oh, and her little life trick? Manifestation. What she visualizes, she brings to life. And if you look at everything she's built, it's hard to argue with that. ✨

“My career at #amdocs has been a journey of constant evolution. I started in 2008 as a developer and grew into roles I never imagined - designer, team lead, manager and eventually a line manager guiding an entire domain.
Along the way, I learned that the brightest ideas often come from stepping outside your comfort zone.
In my current role I am responsible for driving O2A and Order Fallout Management solutions that keep complex telecom ecosystems running smoothly. What many people don’t realize is how critical this work is behind the scenes. A single order fallout can impact both customer experience and revenue, and the systems we build are designed to prevent exactly that. I love the challenge of combining data, automation, and AI to solve problems long before customers ever feel them.
It’s a bit like watching a movie: you don’t think about the editing, the sound design, or the countless decisions happening behind the scenes. You just enjoy a seamless experience (well, assuming the movie is good 🙂).
When I’m not deep in complex architectures and automation flows, I reset in the simplest ways - like getting my daughters ready for school. Those small, everyday moments keep me grounded, patient, and remind me to lead with empathy.”

And what a way to close it out — Amdocs #aOS Cognitive Core, together with e& UAE and NVIDIA, won the GSMA GLOMO Award for Best AI Connected Experience.
The conversations also shifted.

From aOS demos powered with NVIDIA to Partner Zone sessions with Google Cloud, and stage discussions with Three Ireland and AT&T – the focus was clear: execution.
aOS has moved from announcement to planning.
