MetalMorphosis, l’installazione in acciaio leggero presentata in Piazza San Babila durante la Milano Design Week, segna una nuova tappa nella collaborazione tra Ottagono e @amdlcircle .
Un momento per iniziare a raccontare una visione condivisa: un nuovo modo di abitare, attraverso il contributo dei professionisti di Ottagono — l’Ing. Mattia Bedin e l’Arch. Giovanni Fattori — e degli architetti di AMDL CIRCLE — Michele De Lucchi, Nicholas Bewick e Greta Rosset.
Durante la presentazione, l’Arch. Michele De Lucchi ha definito l’opera:
“Un oggetto simbolico di un nuovo modo di fare architettura, di pensare a come l’uomo occuperà il pianeta nel prossimo futuro.”
MetalMorphosis rappresenta così l’inizio di un percorso condiviso, fondato su ricerca, sperimentazione e sviluppo, per immaginare nuovi modi di abitare.

Ieri 20 aprile si è tenuta l’apertura ufficiale dell’installazione tra Piazza San Babila e Largo Arturo Toscanini.
Il manifesto della collaborazione tra Ottagono e @amdlcircle sarà visitabile fino a domenica 26 aprile.
“Da un po’ di tempo mi sono domandato se trasmettere la mia vita professionale ad altri oppure lasciare che tutto scompaia quando io scomparirò”, dice @MicheleDeLucchi . La risposta è racchiusa nella mostra “Genealogie architettoniche”, pensata per il Giardino delle meraviglie di door. Il maestro dell’architettura e del design lo spiega in questa intervista. E, insieme a @_DavideAngeli del suo studio @AmdlCircle , accompagna i visitatori fin dentro l’Anello mancante. Non solo un’installazione, ma una riflessione “su come progettare la città e la convivenza tra gli esseri umani”.
