Africa Forward: Nairobi Becomes the Bridge Between Francophone and Anglophone Africa. Nairobi is alive with energy as Kenya hosts the Africa Forward Summit, co‑led by President William Ruto and President Emmanuel Macron. It is a moment that brings together leaders, innovators, and investors from across Africa and France to shape new partnerships for growth. Kenya shines not just as East Africa’s innovation hub, but as a natural bridge between English and French‑speaking Africa, a place where Francophone countries can connect easily to new markets, new ideas, and new opportunities. This week, Nairobi isn’t just hosting a summit; it’s helping define the future of Africa–France cooperation. Nairobi is not just a host city, it is a force. A place where ideas turn into action, where nations find common ground, and where Africa’s future is written with confidence. The world is watching Nairobi, and what they see is power, possibility, and a city ready to lead. @WilliamsRuto @_KithureKindiki @MusaliaMudavadi @SingoeiAKorir @rebecca_miano @ForeignOfficeKE @UDAKenya @Trade_Kenya @pthigo

Family is the first place where leadership is shaped, values are formed, and purpose is strengthened. Having my family here in the UK to stand with us as we prepare for our next posting is an honour I do not take lightly. Their support reminds me that every achievement is rooted in the people who believe in you long before the world ever does. I am grateful for their presence, their prayers, and their unwavering encouragement.

Carrying the Nation’s Values Abroad: A Diplomat’s Perspective. Kenya’s diplomacy is rooted in a deep respect for the sanctity of life, the belief that every person deserves dignity, peace, and opportunity. This value shapes how the country engages with the world, through dialogue, cooperation, and principled leadership. From championing regional stability to supporting multilateral solutions, Kenya’s foreign policy reflects a commitment to peaceful coexistence and shared progress. Serving as an Ambassador within this framework is both an honour and a profound responsibility, it means carrying the nation’s ideals across borders, building bridges where there are gaps, and ensuring that Kenya’s voice continues to stand for humanity, integrity, and hope.

Positioning Kenya in Global Cheese Trade: High‑Level Discussions in Somerset,United Kingdom. Today’s engagements led by Senator Ledama Olekina, alongside Amb. Dr. Joseph Warui, in the United Kingdom highlighted the growing importance of value‑addition within Kenya’s dairy industry. Their discussions with stakeholders emphasised how collaborative partnerships can create meaningful opportunities for farmers and local producers, particularly in advancing cheese production for global markets. These conversations took place in Somerset, home to renowned British cheeses such as Cheddar and Gouda, underscoring the significance of ensuring Kenya’s presence is equally felt in the international cheese landscape. These engagements reaffirm Kenya’s commitment to strengthening its dairy sector through meaningful international collaboration. By learning from established cheese‑producing regions and building strategic partnerships, Kenya continues to position itself as a competitive contributor to global value‑added agriculture. The insights gained in Somerset serve as a reminder that with innovation, investment, and cooperation, Kenya’s dairy industry can secure a stronger presence on the world stage. @ledamalekina @WilliamsRuto @MusaliaMudavadi @SingoeiAKorir @MITIKenya @ForeignOfficeKE @Diaspora_KE @MMakoloo @kenya_afa

Kenya’s Glory in London: Honouring Our Marathon Heroes and National Pride Joined other Kenyans in the heart of London for the 2026 TCS Marathon, where the streets echoed with pride, unity, and the unmistakable spirit of our nation. This year’s event became more than a race, it transformed into a powerful showcase of Kenya’s excellence, resilience, and global influence. Kenya lit up London with extraordinary performances from our athletes.Sebastian Sawe’s record‑breaking victory and Hellen Obiri’s remarkable second‑place finish once again elevated our flag above the crowds, reminding the world why Kenya remains the undisputed home of marathon greatness. Their achievements reflect not only personal triumphs but the collective strength of a nation that continues to inspire through talent and determination. These victories also highlight the growing role of sports diplomacy in strengthening Kenya’s global presence. Every stride our athletes take on international soil reinforces our identity as a nation of champions, disciplined, united, and forward looking. We extend special appreciation to High Commissioner Maurice Makoloo, whose participation in the 2026 marathon demonstrated exemplary leadership. His involvement sends a powerful message: when leaders champion sports, they champion national unity, youth empowerment, and the nurturing of Kenya’s extraordinary talent. Today, as Kenyans across London and around the world celebrate, we honour not only the medals and records but the spirit of a nation that continues to rise, inspire, and shine on the global stage. @MusaliaMudavadi @SingoeiAKorir @MMakoloo @WilliamsRuto @_KithureKindiki @Diaspora_KE @SDY_Ke @ForeignOfficeKE @KenyaMissionUK

Honoured to host key diaspora leaders for a meaningful conversation on strengthening our shared future. Our discussions focused on expanding welfare support, boosting remittances, enhancing skills transfer, increasing scholarship pathways, and opening new opportunities for Kenyan products in the UK market. We also explored avenues for sustainable investment that can uplift communities back home. The diaspora remains an essential pillar of national development, a community whose contributions, expertise, and global networks continue to shape Kenya’s progress. Grateful for the insights shared and the commitment to building stronger bridges between home and abroad. Together, we move forward with purpose and partnership. Across borders, our commitment to growth and opportunity remains unwavering.
