‘Who Run the World?’ 2025 Resin The queen ant born of one colony, will set off with her wings to start a new one. On this day, all the male ants from their own colonies, will fly with their wings and breed with the queens. The queens store all the sperm given to them in their spermatheca located in their GASTER. Once the male ants have done their duty, they lose their wings, and die soon after. The queen is seen here, in the center of the wall, with a nut beneath her GASTER. The rest of the ants in a colony are without sex. #ants

‘My bird’ 2025 A monument to change. Every feather was found on the floor by me myself or a friend. Feathers from Brookmill park. Feathers from Bulgaria. My friends and I went on a hike to find feathers. Not, even, one. But, at the end of our journey as we approach the road we come across a circle of feathers and collect them. I put them all in a jar and carry it down the road to the bus stop, as we approach, we hear a peacock’s call. We find it in the back garden of a house, as we approach, a man comes out. He asks me if I found these feathers in a circle, I say yes and he tells us that he raises racer pigeons and that this in my hand, is one of his. I ask if he has any peacock feathers, he says yes, they lose their tail feathers every autumn. Feathers as a result of pure manifestation with Julia, notice the bright green ones. Feathers brought from Wales from Stan, Jack, Idris, and Bell. A bead from the balcony and a bit of my lipstick. The kidney in the bird’s mouth is blue from Keelan’s nail polish she said she wouldn’t find and stepped on the next morning. The stump is from outside our house, a Ceanothus ‘Concha’ Californian lilac bush my mum killed by accident while trying to trim it down 10 years ago. I would say she’s a she.

OPENING THIS THURSDAY, tomorrow. My work can be found in the Laurie grove baths, on and around the zig zag wall. Here is a photo of the man with the racer pigeons giving us some of his peacocks feathers, he said ‘male peacocks loose their feathers in autumn’. And if you don’t got after party tix, #getem
