"... I wasn't doing "bad" things, I was trying to do what God said we should do and what God said we shouldn't do. Legalism was pretty much what made me believe I was saved until..."
- Ojodale Udale-Ameh @ojodui
"The first time I began to develop doubts about the existence of God, I was 10 and I randomly thought "What if we all wake up one day and we realized that this idea of God was just made up and He doesn't really exist?"
- Onize Sanni @nizay_suashi
"I remember quite vividly growing up and being told about the age of accountability where a child could still get to heaven because they hadn't advanced in knowledge, it was age 7 that time, so I would do a lot of mischief and still..."
Taiwo Jackson @thetaiwoqueen
"...I began to develop a culture of prayer and bible study, I was also very active in Church and (spiritual) community. However, I didn't have a proper understanding of the gospel or salvation until I heard a sermon titled "Salvation Semantics"...
- Victor Adeniji @codevickk
"Brief years after I had surrendered my life to Christ, there was a part of me that wished for a more 'dramatic' experience. I would listen to people talk about how theirs were, and deep down, I craved the same. People who were so broken and neck-deep in sin, and Christ stepped in and gave their lives a clean sweep a part of me wanted to have that similar experience..."
- Ugochukwu Ogbonna @its_yugee
"In retrospect, I thank God for the suspension, only because it made me realign my faith in God. He (God) told me that He gave me a knock to make me get back with Him because He always called me, but I never listened to Him."
- Oluwaseyi Otinwa @shey_916 and His lovely wife @damilotun
"The doctor said I'd need to permanently wear a leg brace to be able to move and to reduce the pain. I was asked to do a knee x-ray and I told my Pastor in university about it and we prayed together. When the results came out, there was nothing found."
- Sylvia Onoabhagbe, @the_dr_sylvs
"I joined a group called FRIENDS for prayer meetings in Covenant University. It was made up of amazing people who gave themselves to teaching me and my friends the word - seeing people live out their faith boldly convinced me to do this for the rest of my life."
- Tobi Ogunfusika
'I lived in darkness for many years, but I didn't know because I was just a church-goer. I got saved when I found this cool new church which I convinced my mum about so I could attend. Joining CCI (@cci__global ) has changed my life for the better'
- Bamidele David
"A few nights after I surrendered my life to Jesus, I encountered God through a vision. I felt immersed in pure, radiant light, and He said these words to me: “I forgive you.” “I love you.” Immediately, my entire body received a surge of joy and life. This once-in-a-lifetime incident helped to solidify my faith in God and His Word."
- Defayo, @defayotheartist
Community as a Believer is essential. It's a structure for our sustenance.
Throwback to our first Amblify hangout - #WindDown22. It was genuinely beautiful to bring Believers together to listen to music, have conversations, and feast.
It was a beautiful experience. Thank you to everyone that joined us. We'd be organizing even more of these.
Follow @amblifying and watch out for more testimonies and initiatives that would keep you edified.
Love and Light 🧡
