This week I did a thing š±
When I told my kids and husband that I was asked to be a part of a local news segment about North Carolina made products, they lost their minds. Even more so when I told them I hadnāt decided yet. They yelled at me š of course I had to do it and my son said ācāmon mom, have courageāā„ļø
Thankfully ABC11 made it easy and it was a joy to share about my business and my personal journey.
10 years ago I was at home with a 6 month old, probably just starting to see the light at the end of postpartum. I started creating again during her naps. I started sharing my work with little to no expectations.
I wouldnāt have believed you if you told me 10 years later I would be featured in Our State magazine and on the news for creating NC inspired goods and gifts. I wouldnāt have had the first clue on how to get a design on a glass, much less sell them.
But I learned. And I am really proud of how far Iāve come all the while staying home and homeschooling my 3 favorite little people. What a gift š„¹
I know this is not an Emmy speech but I would be remiss if I didnāt mention that all of this is possible because my husband tirelessly believes in me and my talents and that I unfairly have parents who did and do the same. But also so many of you friends who have supported me š«¶ thank you thank you!

Today, as we begin Holy Week before Easter Sunday, let us remember it is all by his grace.
By his grace, we are saved.
His grace is sufficient for us.
From his fullness we have received grace upon grace.
It means I am not alone. It means it is all not on me to get right. I do not have to carry the burdens. It means when I mess up, I do not have to fear or worry.
I pray you know that grace today ā„ļø
