Fun fact: I saw Lilo and Stitch in theatres and became obsessed. I also then became obsessed with Elvis and checked all the books out that I could at my elementary school library, watched his tv shows and movies, and listened to his greatest hits over and over. I was a cute kid.

Every body deserves tattoos, no matter what you think your body looks like or where you think your body needs to be. We are squishy, glowy, hairy, scarred, stretched, and none of that determines whether we can do something or should do something.
You are able to do so many things, your body is amazing, and appearances are nothing but a societal norm. Treasure yourself and all you can do.

Having lost my own mother when I was young, being a mom was all I wanted. Spend that time I missed with her, with my own. Give the love I felt from her, to my own.
Being a mom is my pride and joy, the hardest job, the most rewarding job. I would not trade it for anything. It will always come first, and I will forever advocate for fair treatment, love, and justice of parents and children everywhere. Being a mother has done nothing but continually help me grow into a more empathetic, compassionate, and patient individual.
This week was so lovely. This morning I was showered with gifts and cards that made me cry the happiest tears. I am beyond fortunate to have my family, and for them to know how much I love them is one of the best gifts of all. I think of all the mothers and children who aren’t as fortunate as myself and it hurts, but inspires me that much more to continually advocate and fight for all.
Remember to give yourself and your family patience. We are all going through things together and separate. Snuggle, tickle, and laugh as often as possible. Marvel at your creations. Put into them what you want to see in the world. Fight for a better life for your offspring, even when it seems futile. Hold each other longer, the weight of adulthood can wait. Know that even on the hardest days, it is all worth it in the end. Don’t compare yourself to others. Spend all the extra time that you can. Allow each minute to go by slowly.
