Putting a pause on my social media feed, but not muting my words or actions online and offline. Today, we have 24 hours to spend our time gathering the information we need for tomorrow’s continued action to support the black community. 24 hours to educate myself further, to donate, to sign more petitions, to call more influential politicians, to tell my family and friends where I stand on racial injustice and to gather the information I need to press forward in the fight for human rights and equality. Paused on social does not mean we should mute our efforts online and offline so that the voices of those against our black family are louder and drown out the efforts we’ve made thus far. 🖤 Pause, but continue to take action.
