These are a few of my favourite things 💐🌻🌸🌷🧚🏽
Making the most of these last couple of months of colourful blooms before the cool sets in…

There is nothing that is not present in the flower. We see sunshine, we see the rain, we see clouds, we see the earth, and we also see time and space in the flower.

Last week I was pottering around in the garden and my love @marcusmalliate decided that this was worthy of a feature film 😂 🪴 👩🏽🌾
My garden wasn’t as fruitful as I had hoped for this year, partially due to the changes in weather and part due to soil quality I think…
I’m excited to start refreshing my beds in the next month for the autumn and winter crops. 🥦🍐🥔🥬
What are you planning on growing this next season? 🍂
Weekend snaps and a few other bits n bobs lately… 🤎
Save our trees + Free Palestine (and Free Congo, Sudan, Cuba, Myanmar, Iran , West Papua and everyone fighting the oppressors)
+ Be kind ✌🏽
Autumn uniform is here 🍂🧸
I’ve been trying to cut back on getting new clothes as often, but I couldn’t say no to these gorgeous Foxwood pieces!
So cosy and especially for the cooler months, I am always impressed by the quality, tones and the slightly oversized fits 🤎
How many times did I tussle my hair? 😅

It’s been so little since I have done a little garden update, the season was a bit all over the place… but here’s a few things blooming and fruiting atm.
We had lots of wins and quite a few losses, rip all my blueberry plants 🫐😥
One thing that has been a constant joy has been flowers, at the beginning of spring through to summer we had Lockspur and poppies and then the cosmos have been bringing so much dimension and colour to the patch and I’ve been able to fill our vases since August! 💐
Dahlia’s were really slow this year. I had a few blooms super early November and then I as pretty sparse but they’re powering through and will hopefully get more blooms before the cold weather or the powdery mildew takeover ❄️
today was glorious getting some sunshine and soaking up these warm days, not gonna lie though I am very keen for lots of cosy vibes soon 🧸🤎🍂🍜🧦🌰✨
As usual, I have been procrastinating planting the winter veg, but we will be getting onto you this coming weekend… it’s always so hard to pull out the summer patch when there’s still so much life.
I do have a few things planted like broccoli’s cauliflower, spinach and peas.
This weekend I plan to put in:
🫛Broad beans
🥬Cabbage
🧄Garlic
🫛More peas
Beetroot
🥕Carrots
🥬 Bok choy
Very grateful for this little space

Some snippets from the weekend…
It’s starting to get chilly here in the Adelaide Hills, lucky there’s so many cosy spots ✨🪵🍂
Also unintentionally wearing virtually all @willsveganstore - Boots, bag, belt and coat - the best 🖤
I’m taking off on an exciting (and fairly last minute) tropical solo trip, I’m thinking back to my last adventures.
These were some moments from an album titled “best day ever”, exploring the lake district in England.

What a sublime weekend 🫶🏽🌻👩🏽🌾
Marc and I went to the Harvest Garden Festival by @opengardensa this weekend.
We visited 9 out of the 14 gardens open this weekend, hopefully next time we’ll make it to them all 🤞🏽
We both left feeling so inspired to continue to grow our current little patch and have so many ideas for our future garden one day… ✨
Some of the big takeaways we would love to implement are:
🍓 Adding more strawberries and edible ground covers
🪹 Adding an enclose/netted area around orchard areas and veggie beds, I’m happy to share with the birds but we’d like to eat some of the food we grow 😅
💧 Giving wicking beds a go!
🪵 Cyprus pine based beds, one of the gardeners mentioned that it doesn’t bow and they don’t need toxic chemical treatments as they offer natural resistance to pests. And shouldn’t rot either!
🍅 We saw so many awesome ideas for vertical planting and ways to espalier trees so would love to try some out.

Please excuse my dag town outfit 🫠
The way I always choose to bake on a hot day in the hottest part of the day always gets me…🙊
This was second time making sourdough, the first time was a bit average… I bought a 100 year old starter pack and I COULD NOT get it active enough and even keep it alive; this time I made my own starter a few weeks ago and she did good 🤭
This was fun. I think I’ll do this again!
