I write the dialogue in my short stories in a traditional Vincentian way of speaking (“Vincy dialect”), and I’m committed to creating representation for current and future generations of Vincentians.
My writing is deeply inspired by folk tales and traditional knowledge, and I believe these stories deserve to be preserved and shared widely. This support would help me bring Caribbean stories to a global audience and keep those narratives alive through my work.
