It's Halloween time, so I'm going to start finding some of my horror related cosplay photos to share, at times!
This is my Mima, from Perfect Blue! My friend SadiraPookie wanted to cosplay as both versions of Mima Kirigoe, and I was like HELL YEAH. I have more horror themed costumes, so I'll try to post more this month!
Also, I just want to say I really mourn for Satoshi Kon and his passing. He was one of my all time favorite directors, a brilliant visionary. Perfect Blue was the first movie of his I'd ever seen, then had to find more. I feel like he would've continued pushing new ideas and boundaries for his whole life, if he'd have had the chance. A loss for the whole world.

Mystique, finally! 💙💀
I painted my neck & face using a mix of blues from Mehron Paradise makeup, everything below the neck is a bodysuit I made. I have been getting a lot of questions about this bodysuit due to the built in boobs, so here's the deal: I wanted to come up w a great way to do this & share it, but it's a hot mess. I made 3 bodysuits, using different things for boobs in an effort to avoid painting my body & getting it all over the white fabric whenever I wore this. I finally used thermoplastic as a boob-base. There are multiple seams in the spandex on the boobs, but I managed to get them at least where they are covered with the fabric drapes. But really, it's a frankenstien mess under there, so it's something that I'm going to keep working on. I opted for a deeper scarlet red wig over primary red...I think bright looks great in art & comics, but when translated to life I prefer a subdued red on Mystique. Mesh lenses, I'm not comfortable putting in full sclera lenses. My jewelry & crown is foam w spandex over it, hundreds of crystals glued on. Airbrushes gradient on the sequin fabric!

New Commission: Aerith of Final Fantasy VII! I used custom printed cotton fabrics, the dress is fully lined with bemberg rayon since the client didn’t want polyester/artificial fabrics on their skin! The jacket is red cotton denim, the accent color is a matte bridal satin for the strap on the sleeves! I lined the jacket with a pretty red floral cotton print since it’s hidden, I thought it suited her!
The pattern for the fabric was designed by @totallytoastyari !

New commission: Final Fantasy XIV Custom Monk cosplay! This one ended up being a little harder than I originally estimated, there’s so many hidden details, ornaments, and layers. I really hope I get to see video of it moving on my customer, I want to see it brought to life!

I had to do this pretty little fanart by of Marian by @joe_jaro , I just set up my phone and took a selfie. Obviously I edited my tattoos on (I tried to keep them as close to Marian’s as I could), I posted the original without them just to show the difference.
I feel like this wig is an accidental Marian of “Men In Tights”. But I’m just cool like that.

New Commission: Lihua of The Apothecary Diaries! Hand dyed silky satin for the pale lavender, a rich blue brocade for the outer robe. Hand made accessories, the 3d print file for the tiara was by Silvveri (etsy). Lihua is so pretty, I look forward to seeing this on my client!
