HUNTINGTON WOODS BUNGALOW: AIRY & ORGANIC TRANSFORMATION⁠ ⁠ This charming bungalow in Huntington Woods was given a thoughtful renovation designed and project managed by Amareaux Interior Design. Every detail was carefully considered to maximize space, improve flow, and create a home that feels both modern and timeless.⁠ ⁠ Kitchen⁠ The heart of the home was completely reimagined. Amareaux embraced a two-tone cabinetry palette—warm natural wood lowers paired with crisp white uppers. This combination created an elevated, custom look while giving the illusion of a larger footprint. By closing the pantry door that once opened into the dining room (now a home office), the team reconfigured the layout for improved storage and uninterrupted cabinetry runs. High-performance appliances, including a professional-grade range, paneled refrigerator, and wine fridge, were seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry. Finishes were chosen to reflect the project’s airy and organic ethos: waterfall quartz countertops with soft veining, a full quartz backsplash for continuity, and matte black hardware for subtle contrast. Natural light now dances across the space, enhancing its open, welcoming feel.⁠ ⁠ Dining Room Conversion⁠ The former family room was transformed into an inviting dining room, designed for gathering and entertaining. A modern oak dining table and chairs echo the tones of the kitchen cabinetry, tying the spaces together. A sculptural pendant light, landscape artwork, and fresh florals add warmth and refinement, achieving a balance between minimalism and comfort.⁠ ⁠ Powder Room Jewel Box⁠ The powder room offers a striking counterpoint to the lighter palette elsewhere. Amareaux selected deep green glazed tile, a walnut vanity, and brass fixtures to create a jewel-box effect.
