My name is Amanda, Iām 26 and live alone in my tiny home(that I built) in Washington State.
I work as a freelancer. This mainly includes content creation and guiding/working with She Moves Mountains.
I love traveling, reading, backpacking, climbing, all things outdoors, art, cooking, and so many other things.
I love Washington and being close to my family and friends but I dream of moving to a more sunny state like Utah.
I love creating community and hosting events.
I bust my booty doin all sorts of gig work so that I can continue to travel and explore this beautiful world.
Thatās the gist of it. Thatās me, at least put into a few words.

On the border of Washington and Oregon lies a beautiful land of wildflowers, mountains, and rivers.
Memaloose Hills Trail we did the first week of May.
We did Memaloose for sunset.
Overall, our favorite wildflower hike that we did was McCall. The mix of mountains and the most plentiful flowers made it our favorite.
We did McCall for sunrise.
We had Mt Adams and Mt Hood viewpoints here.
Dog Mountain was a leg burner, but definitely worth it. The view of the river really adds to the beauty. There wasnāt a ton of flowers left though.

First time pack raftingā¦.was a success!šš¼
I went on a 2 1/2 mile route down the Sultan river and got to paddle through class l and ll rapids. I felt super safe having my brother there teaching me everything as well as using the @paddlewaysapp and @nrsweb gear so that I felt prepared and knowledgeable about the route that we were going on.
I am already starting to plan my next trip!!

I wanted a vacation where I could have everything I needed within walking distance, and San poncho ended up being the perfect place for my vacation.
All within walking distance is
-an amazing beach
-so many amazing restaurants for any price range
-multiple yoga studios
-Shops and streets to explore
And so much more. I spent seven days here and wish I couldāve been there longer. I didnāt get to do everything I wanted to do.
So I guess that means Iāll be back San PanchošāØ

Iāve climbed rocks on and off throughout the last 10 years of my life.
Iāve also either attended or worked over 20 different @shemovesmountains rock climbing retreats.
when I go on these retreats and Climb with a bunch of other badass women, it really ignites the fire in me to climb more but then I get home and life takes over.
Although, after climbing in Kentucky, I really think it clicked in me how much I love this sport and I canāt wait to really get after it this Spring and Summer in WAš§āāļø

Also as a rock climbing Photographer, I rarely get photos of myself on the wall so I was happy to get a few of them on this trip!
