Thank you to @ecabuildsyeg for the invitation to @skillsalberta and for the incredible work you do supporting youth with career exploration in the skilled trades. We’re proud to be part of initiatives that help inspire the next generation.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Angela, the Assistant Principal of Sherwood Heights Junior High School, who stopped by our site trailer with a couple of students to share some very thoughtful goodies and heartfelt thank-you cards.
Their visit was a meaningful reminder of why we do what we do. We’re proud to support the school community by opening up our parking lot for staff parking and by working diligently to build a new school that will serve students and staff for years to come.
Thank you, Angela and the Sherwood Heights team, for the kind gesture and for trusting us with such an important project.
A big thank you to @edmontonislamicacademy for having us at Career Day. Watching the students faces light up reminded us why these moments matter so much.
Thank you to @m.e.lazerte for inviting the AMAN Builders team to Career Day! We had a great time engaging with students and sparking conversations around career exploration in the trades.
Sometimes safety meetings don’t include pizza, and sometimes they do! Thanks to everyone putting in the hard work at the Southside school and big thanks to Kim for keeping the safety program moving forwards!!
Last week, our Aman Builders team had the privilege of volunteering at the @strathcona_food_bank , an organization that has been nourishing the community with food and hope since 1983.
The Strathcona Food Bank is 100% volunteer‑run, relying entirely on the kindness and time of community members to provide essential food support to families across Sherwood Park and rural Strathcona County.
During our volunteer shift, our team helped support the Food Bank’s mission of ensuring everyone in Strathcona County has access to healthy food , a need that continues to grow year after year. The Food Bank’s work supports thousands of individuals annually and is made possible through partnerships, food drives, and dedicated volunteers.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the incredible efforts of this organization and to give back to the community where we live and work.
Thank you to the Strathcona Food Bank for the meaningful work you do every day and for welcoming the Aman Builders team into your space.
If you’re looking for a way to make a difference, consider supporting or volunteering with the Strathcona Food Bank. Their impact is truly felt throughout our community.
A huge thank you to our Accounting team for rolling up their sleeves and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity! Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building safe, affordable housing and strengthening communities, an incredible mission our team was proud to support. We were happy to be a part of this wonderful organization for the day while contributing to our purpose of inspiring communities, locally and globally.
We join organizations across the country in celebrating Women’s Appreciation Day and recognizing the incredible contributions of women in construction.
At Aman Builders, we are proud to have talented, dedicated, and resilient women supporting our teams and driving our organization forward.
From the field to the office, each of you brings perspective, leadership, expertise, and heart to the work we do every day.
The construction industry has historically been male‑dominated, yet women continue to rise, innovate, and lead with strength and excellence.
To all the women at Aman Builders:
Thank you for the work you do,
Thank you for the barriers you break,
Thank you for the leadership and collaboration you bring to our team,
And thank you for helping build not just our projects, but our culture.
We encourage everyone to take a moment some time this week to show appreciation to the women you work with, your teammates, leaders, mentors, and colleagues.
Let’s continue to uplift, support, and celebrate the women who help build our industry and our company.
Happy Women’s Appreciation Day, and here’s to the remarkable women in construction!
Thank you to Dave Punter and the Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) for an engaging Lunch & Learn last week! ARCA plays a major role in advancing Alberta’s roofing industry through standards, education, and advocacy, and our team walked away with practical insights we can put to use right away.
Last week’s Builders Connect Expo was a great reminder of how strong our construction community is! 🔧
Big shoutout to the @ecabuildsyeg Edmonton Construction Association (ECA) for hosting an event that connects builders with suppliers, innovators, and industry experts, all under one roof.
It was a great opportunity to learn, network, and build relationships that move projects forward!
