Happy Mother's Day to my Mom. I am so proud of how much my Mom has grown since Dad died in 2022. It was a hard road but she has finally found a nice place to live and good friends to comfort her. It makes my heart happy to see her happy.
3 total weddings today!!! I was able to capture some shots of McKenna & Troy's waterside ceremony in Manteo today 😍 It was gorgeous!!!

When God gives you a vision, see it through. The fruit of the labor is a reward and blessing. These kids are so amazing and talented. Lou Castro and I have had a blast working with these kids the past couple of years. Here's to many more!!!
A big thanks again to Daniel Pullen for dedicating his time to capture these kids in action. We are grateful and honored for his time and talents.
These children will always remember this part of their lives and the impact of playing music will last a lifetime.
"Meditation from Thais" by Massenet.
When I was about 12 years old, I remember hearing a student at my teachers studio play this beautiful piece. I looked at my Mom and said, "I want to play that one day." After all these years, it is always a favorite in my classical repertoire.
Yesterday, I played a wedding in the Sunset Ballroom, unplugged. The acoustics were so amazing and really brought out the true essence of this piece.
Over 30 years later, this piece of music is still a reminder of my love for how the violin sings.
Life in the studio. Most of my week is spent in this space when not playing a wedding or gig. Today was extra special though.
This is the sweetest! Her two older sisters have been taking lessons with me for a year and a half. Now the youngest is joining the violin journey. It is an honor and privilege to make an impact in the life of a child through music. Stickers are also a must! Haha.
