Some moments hit us differently. Sometimes we can explain it, sometimes we can’t. When I was 22 I broke my back and pelvis in a horse riding accident. I don’t share this often, but this certainly shaped me through the years and why I feel so grateful for moments like these and every adventure we get to go on…and why I think this trip hit me differently.
I know I’m getting older and it gets harder to do things like this, but we gave it our all and I was really proud of my crew and proud of myself. I’m not the best skier, but I’m just excited that I have the chance to be out there on that mountain with them experiencing all the wins and the wipeouts, and seeing the smiles on their faces, because it makes me smile too. And I love everything about that!! 🩵❄️🥶🤍
